The Courtyard: Hour Space's Best-Kept Not-So-Secret
Most coworking spaces sell you a desk. We happen to have one of the better courtyards in Colaba, and honestly, it might be the reason people stay longer than they planned to.

A Day in the Life of Hour Space's Courtyard
9 AM: The courtyard is quiet except for one determined soul with their laptop out, coffee in hand, clearly hoping today's the day they become a morning person. We're rooting for them.
10:30 AM: An hour later, the quiet's already broken. The first coffee break crowd shows up, someone's on a call walking small circles like the pacing helps them think, and honestly, it probably does.
12 PM: By noon, the courtyard's properly full. Nobody wants dal at their desk next to an open spreadsheet, so everyone quietly migrates outside instead.
1 PM: And just as quickly, everyone's gone again. A soft little lull, most people back at their desks, the courtyard left to sit there being pretty for a while, plants and all.
2:30 PM: It doesn't stay empty for long. Someone stepped out for "five minutes of air" a while ago and, well, they're still out there. No judgment. Sometimes five minutes is just what you need, even if it stretches a little.
3 PM: Every now and then, this hour brings a visitor nobody expects, once it was a shoot with Sarah Jane Dias, another time the bag brand Zouk shooting their campaign, both picking this same little corner without needing to be shown around. Nothing we planned. The courtyard just has a way of being noticed.
4 PM: As the afternoon tips toward evening, the real crowd shows up. Golden hour, quite literally; the light turns warm, more people wander outside, and everyone finds a reason to "step out for a bit." And we love it.
5:30 PM: Not long after, a few people are clearly winding down for the day out here rather than at their desks, and honestly, that feels like a nice way to end things.
7 PM: By the time evening properly sets in, the energy's shifted entirely. The crowd settles in slower, more relaxed, people who've stopped calling it a work break and are just enjoying being outside.
9 PM: Somewhere between one drink and the next, the night quietly takes over. The lights dim, the crowd thins, and a couple of "quick catch-ups" have somehow turned into two-hour conversations. As they do.
The courtyard doesn't really switch off; it just shifts moods through the day, from productive to golden to unhurried. If you've gone a whole day without stepping outside once, that might be worth changing.
